I agree with you. The Repair Install with an In-Place Upgrade is the best solution. It is the easiest way to make the changes to the Recovery Partition as it does all the needed changes during the Copy / Install process of Win 10 Operating System Repair. This is a solution that should resolve the issue with KB503441 and its Error 0x80070643 (in 99% of the cases). For those who are not familiar with Partition Management, stopping SSD cache software, Windows Recovery files, CMD Commands, and using reagentc, this is a very good solution. This is a Microsoft Fix (perhaps not directly recommended) that does work, my advice is to read through this posts many pages that relate to this fix.

Here is your post from a month ago that is on Page 41. You can read through pages 35 to 45 to get most all your questions answered, and get the specifics on just how to do the "Repair Install with an In-Place Upgrade:

The automatic, easy and risk-free solution that I recommend for users who do not have great knowledge because the data given by Microsoft presents great risks is the one which consists of carrying out a "Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade":

but in point 9 of the tutorial, you must check the box "Download updates, drivers and optional features".

And once Windows update is completely up to date (automatic installation of KB5037768 released today and transition to buid 19045.4412.) Windows update will automatically download and install the KB5034441 update.

This is an abysmal cop out of a solution. I have 40+ PCs in several states that need this done. Manually doing anything other than automatically applying an official Microsoft patch is am absolutely piss poor solution for my business running Windows 10 Pro.

Telling a customer that physically paid for an OS on sets of hardware to do this should never, ever been seen as an acceptable solution. Are they going to pay me contract rates to cover the labor for this? Are you? No?

Are they fixing it? Apparently also no? Than please how explain how this is remotely acceptable or in any way good for a company as large as MS?

It sounds like you need to take a legal route.

I believe Microsoft is trying to push people off of Windows 10 early as they can. Didn't Apple slow down to old phones to force people to switch to the new phones?????? This might be the same thing. Why should they spend time on an old operating system? BUT they are also forcing a lot of people to go out and buy new hardware because of Windows 11. Microsoft should be forced to fix these problems and not just ignore them.
