When I tried to install the windows update "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" I received the error code (0x80070643).
I have already tried, restarting my computer, waiting a bit before retrying, running a memory diagnostic check, checking all my drivers for updates, installing optional updates, and running a malware scan.
When I tried to run the windows update troubleshooter it said "diagnosing problems" but never fixed them and I was still unable to install the update after running the trouble shooter.
Any help would be appreciated.

What was that 3rd party partition app you mentioned used please? You need to be accurate with these kind of operations even having a full backup.

First, I assume you assigned the GPT Partition ID and the GPT Attributes for your new Partition properly. Read through the details of the 35 pages if you are not sure for details on how this is done. If these steps are not done right you will not have a recognized Windows Recovery Partition. The ID and Attributes can be added using Diskpart, if you are familiar with the commands.
If the Partition IS setup right then proceed. Or, proceed anyway to Hide the Partition. It will still be visible in Disk Management.
You could use MiniTool Partition Wizard (Free Version) to fix this, I believe. Download the latest version, install freeware version and start the App (Program). Likely your Boot or OS Drive is Disk1 (in this program).
Left-click on the 96 MB Partition shown on the Disk1 or the OS Drive "Z". This will highlight it blue.
Right click on the blue high lighted Partition (again 96 MB "Z").
From the menu that pops up select "Hide Partition." This will hide it from being displayed in File Manager and having a Drive Letter. You are not done yet.
This will place your request for completing this change in the Operations Pending on the Left side of the open Window. Now you have to Accept the change by clicking "Apply." Your request will be completed. You can restart your PC and see if the Partition is no longer visible.

2024-04-20T15:14:40+00:00 LEWCARVER - I did successfully install Update KB5034441 after I used a third party partition manager to upsize the Recovery Partition. I assumed, maybe incorrectly, that upsizing the Recovery Partition would not change its ID or attributes. However, I do not see the Recovery Partition listed any longer and my 100 MB EFI System Partition is now listed in Disk Management as separated from Boot Drive C (but not in diskpart) and given drive letter "Z" in File Explorer. I've clearly screwed up somewhere along the line. sfc /scannow did not fix the problem(s). Rather than risk a non-bootable system, I think it's time for a Repair Installation.
