Windows update (KB5034441) Error (0x80070643)

When I tried to install the windows update "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" I received the error code (0x80070643).

I have already tried, restarting my computer, waiting a bit before retrying, running a memory diagnostic check, checking all my drivers for updates, installing optional updates, and running a malware scan.

When I tried to run the windows update troubleshooter it said "diagnosing problems" but never fixed them and I was still unable to install the update after running the trouble shooter.

Any help would be appreciated.

    I read this method online and it seemed to make sense . This guy recommended reinstalling Windows 10 using the Media Creation Tool . It worked for him and it worked for me . Essentially you will reinstall the latest version of Windows 10 which , for me , made room for all the updates that come with the new version installation . It took me 5 hours but all updates downloaded successfully after the reinstall. You go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10  and you want Create Windows 10 installation Media and then Download Now . I DID NOT DO A CLEAN INSTALL . I opted to keep my files and apps (but backed up everything before I tried this not knowing the outcome ) . I went to the control panel to verify that (KB5034441) had indeed downloaded . Success! My logic for trying this was that Microsoft would ,in the latest version , anticipate the amount of space needed for existing updates , including the problem child , (KB5034441).

    This just might be the best way, if you do not want to go through the manual procedure to get a working Win Recovery Partition and reagentc. In my experience this method is more disruptive than it is worth, but if you do not have a bunch of apps and add-ons it would be better. Seemed that the PCs I tried this on would no longer run my newer, quality programs (apps). Glad it worked.

    I just read about one person who did a Win 11 update, to address the error like you. He mentioned that the 4 hour image download bypassed the TPM and CPU issues with older, non-qualifying PCs. He said it worked but took 5-6 hours. I am going to wait and see if MS does something to allow older machines to stay working with their accepted bypass. I do agree with one post here about going through the 30 pages of responses to get to the solution for the error code (0x80070643).

    This did not work for me.

    Every time i make a new recovery partition it will be created as the same size as before and 250 MB are left behind that i can't do anything with except extend the primary partition.
