I've experienced the same issue with this update, and, despite running through the steps to change the partition size, which also involved getting a piece of third party software as I had two unallocated partitions, one in front, and one after the main Windows partition which needed combining. Having done all of this, the steps still didn't work for me.
What seems to be the issue in my case is that, probably at my own hand, I no longer actually have the WinRE image anyway. So the location can't be set because it doesn't exist anymore at that location. Needless to say, when you finally try to Enable it again, it fails because there's no valid path/image.
This is something I have no idea how to resolve. I saw something about downloading some kind of .wim file, and then extracting something from that, popping it in the Windows/Recorvery file location and then trying to set the path to that, but it all feels somewhat challenging. With the amount of time I've spent reading the articles/info/trying to resize partitions, it probably would have been quicker to just completely reinstall Windows on my laptop (and everything else). That currently feels like the last resort/sledge hammer approach. :o(
