Windows update (KB5034441) Error (0x80070643)

When I tried to install the windows update "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" I received the error code (0x80070643).

I have already tried, restarting my computer, waiting a bit before retrying, running a memory diagnostic check, checking all my drivers for updates, installing optional updates, and running a malware scan.

When I tried to run the windows update troubleshooter it said "diagnosing problems" but never fixed them and I was still unable to install the update after running the trouble shooter.

Any help would be appreciated.

    done and checked as instructed, reagentc working as explained, disk 0 /part.4 recovery is over 550MB of which 90MB free... still error 0x80070643 came up on win update yesterday without mention of WHICH (KB) update:

    "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070643)"

    ..but update history unveils:

    KB5001716 Update for Windows Update Service Components.

    Failed to install on ‎06.‎03.‎2024 - 0x80070643

    hope there is a solution soon, as update Service appears to be an important part of Win10 working hassle free and specially secure from hacking, this as I got a view intrusion attempts into MS-account from Ukraine !!! and China!!!

    Why bother doing all this crapola? Makes a helluva lot more sense to retire Win10 and go to Win11.

    Kudos mate, i concur with the "every other version" phenomenon. But looking at this exhausting "fix" for one dumb update that you'll likely never need or use, wouldn't it make more sense to go with Win11, any of the usual bugs withstanding?

    Easy fix... protect your MS acc't by deleting your password & using Windows Hello (PiN) to sign in. Hackers can't touch it. Trust me on this.

    Well, I read about what this failed security update is for and it doesn't pertain to me. The more I read about Win 11 problems the more I want to hold off switching from Win 10 until after Oct/2025. Hopefully, Win 12 will be released by then. Remember the sine wave.
