Windows update (KB5034441) Error (0x80070643)

No idea. I just am not seeing any updates at all. Won't that ultimately cause issues? System is working now. Seems a bit slower than normal.

I'm still getting the almost-daily security intelligence updates. Then it tries to install the 2H22 Security Update (categorized as a quality update) from the bad KB and errors out.

So I'm getting those daily updates but I'm guessing this quality update is blocking other ones from downloading and installing.

For me, the issue is different from that faulty update, every time I press the update, something happens to my operating system, now the power option is disabled and I can't disable the antivirus, it turns on soon.

So, Tuesday is Microsoft update. I installed the latest update and after the install checked for other updates. The 2H22 Security Update came up again and with I tried to install it, it errors out. Same issue as before so Microsoft has not corrected the issue.

I am running Norton antivirus and other apps to protect my computer, so I am not worried at this point. But is making me think about moving to an Apple Mac. My family is already invested in Apple phones and iPads, so the move to an Apple Mac is not a major jump. I will continue to run my PC on Windows 10 since it does not meet the minimum configuration for Windows 11. Hopefully Microsoft is monitoring this thread and will come up with a fix. I give it a couple of months and then I will look at an Apple Mac and what it will cost to move along with software costs.

I had the same issue and I followed the directions in the following article kb5028997 and recreated the partition with 1.5GB of space this allowed the update to complete.
