Windows update (KB5034441) Error (0x80070643)

When I tried to install the windows update "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" I received the error code (0x80070643).

I have already tried, restarting my computer, waiting a bit before retrying, running a memory diagnostic check, checking all my drivers for updates, installing optional updates, and running a malware scan.

When I tried to run the windows update troubleshooter it said "diagnosing problems" but never fixed them and I was still unable to install the update after running the trouble shooter.

Any help would be appreciated.

I read elsewhere that "The patch, released on January 9, was meant to address a vulnerability that allowed attackers to bypass BitLocker encryption by using the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). It was released for Windows 10 21H2 and 22H2 but has failed for many users." So if you're not using BitLocker it would be unnecessary. I've seen people with the problem say that it downloads fine but will not install. So Windows Update reports a permanent problem (or does for me), however, it doesn't seem to stop other updates from downloading & installing. Has anyone seen it stop another update from installing?

I have had two other updates successfully install (KB5034582 and KB5034203) after this problem occurred, but this one (KB5034441) still fails repeatedly. I have not tried any of the "fixes" that have been suggested. I checked and the partition is enabled. I do have another very old (around 2005) HP computer that had KB5034441 install just fine, but it has a larger partition. Another one from about 2012-13 also fails, but has a smaller partition. Odd that my oldest computer handles it fine, but a one point I did switch in a newer, larger disk drive. Maybe that was when the larger partition was created.

Are there any programmers working on this? I've been waiting weeks for a solution and all I get is a request to download and install this about every 3 days. When I try to re-download this update, it starts to download and only last about 2-3 secs before it starts to install. It's like they need to purge the old download before the new one will install. Please help us out here...

Would this affect my systems camera? I cannot get it to work. It stopped working. My update won't work. I ran many troubleshooting tasks, run cmd, and more, and then reset my entire computer and still have the same issues.
