Windows update (KB5034441) Error (0x80070643)

When I tried to install the windows update "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" I received the error code (0x80070643).

I have already tried, restarting my computer, waiting a bit before retrying, running a memory diagnostic check, checking all my drivers for updates, installing optional updates, and running a malware scan.

When I tried to run the windows update troubleshooter it said "diagnosing problems" but never fixed them and I was still unable to install the update after running the trouble shooter.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Lelivienne

This automatic, easy, risk-free solution with guaranteed results is intended for users without much knowledge because the solutions recommended by Microsoft are not accessible to everyone and are risky.

Otherwise, even for experienced users, I recommend using third-party partitioning software that is much less risky and easier to use than Microsoft solutions (Diskpart solution and Script solution).

    Hello CheyenneSmith2

I don't understand what you mean. Did you follow the tenforums tutorial to perform the upgrade and it failed?

If so, your system is heavily corrupted and it is best that you back up your data and reinstall Windows.

As for the installation media, it is not necessary for an in-place upgrade, the Windows 10 22H2 ISO is sufficient.

Thank you for answering these questions but there is something wrong because if update KB5034441 does not show as installed in the update history, it is because it is not installed. has not been installed and should appear as a failure both in the update history and in the main Windows Update window.

There is something wrong if update KB5034441 is not found anywhere.

To check certain points and come to a possible conclusion send a screenshot of the main Windows Update window and a screenshot of the update history window.

Also transmits a screenshot of the "About Windows" window that appears when running the winver command.
