Windows update (KB5034441) Error (0x80070643)

When I tried to install the windows update "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" I received the error code (0x80070643).

I have already tried, restarting my computer, waiting a bit before retrying, running a memory diagnostic check, checking all my drivers for updates, installing optional updates, and running a malware scan.

When I tried to run the windows update troubleshooter it said "diagnosing problems" but never fixed them and I was still unable to install the update after running the trouble shooter.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure I understand your question. The Partition ID is set by the person who creates the Partition or You. You can make the partition ID a number of things (purposes). You do need to know if your Disk is MBR (older PC's) or GPT (newer PC's).

Setting this ID is where the posted messages on this website go wrong, or just don't give you the right direction to set it correctly. The Partition ID can be set from the Command Window / and from diskpart command program. You need to know the proper command and the syntax needed to set the Partition ID using SET ID command in diskpart.

It can also be set from Partition Software Programs (usually at no charge or free). To create a Recovery Partition that works properly, and is recognized by Windows, you do need to properly set the ID. Find out what kind of Disk you have. You can properly create and set the ID using good posts in this forum, using online videos, or using programs like Mini Tool Partition or AOEMI. If you let me know, I can give you the directions or assist.

At first, I was thinking I will leave it there without the update,

because my Windows machine is mainly for streaming Tidal.

After reading andrew's comment, I think maybe I can try this since my pc doesn't has any important data files on it.

Yes, after a fresh re-install of the latest version Win10, the problem solved!

    Yeah https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

is the way to go because this will sure solve the problem, instead of waste time try other various method and find that the problem still there(this was my experience).

I don't use this machine to visit other website nor do any productive work.
