Download error - 0x80070643 has been on my PC for months now. I don't want to mess about with resizing as I cannot afford to break this PC. I've paid for a product from Microsoft, is there any plan for a fix please?
Windows update (KB5034441) Error (0x80070643)
When I tried to install the windows update "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" I received the error code (0x80070643).
I have already tried, restarting my computer, waiting a bit before retrying, running a memory diagnostic check, checking all my drivers for updates, installing optional updates, and running a malware scan.
When I tried to run the windows update troubleshooter it said "diagnosing problems" but never fixed them and I was still unable to install the update after running the trouble shooter.
Any help would be appreciated.

2024-04-08T02:25:49+00:00 Nearly 4 months later... Why is windows even trying to touch my recovery partition without asking? Seems it can't identify it properly to begin with. One system I have in particular, doesn't even have a recovery partition. Not sure what to do about it, other than hide the update? I would have thought the Update Orchestrator would have disqualified the system for this particular update (at least by now)?

2024-03-07T04:08:45+00:00 Well, I read about what this failed security update is for and it doesn't pertain to me. The more I read about Win 11 problems the more I want to hold off switching from Win 10 until after Oct/2025. Hopefully, Win 12 will be released by then. Remember the sine wave.
