There must be a way to fix this. Hasn't Microsoft come up with something by now?

The screen before I put my PIN in (I don't know if that is the lock screen or called something else) has suddenly started to use Chinese traditional language. I have checked and updated the region in control panel and copied the settings to lock screen and even ticked the new use box, as suggested by other solutions. I've rebooted several times but it still comes back as Chinese. When I click on the area that (I assume is saying) I want more information on the screen, it opens up MSN page with Chinese stories and information. How do I change the settings to show English text again?
Why has this happened? I have not changed any settings in my system prior to now.
I also can't get a screenshot because as soon as I touch a key the PIN request screen comes up replacing the screen with the Chinese characters in it.

2024-02-01T15:34:59+00:00 I have the same situation. I have multiple computers at home and those whom I have just set up without VPN shows the lock screen with Chinese text and logging in goes direct to MSN that is Chinese based information.
Two of my computers are now stuck with this lock screen. the others with VPN are not affected.
I find this a bit alarming.

2024-02-01T15:43:52+00:00 Same issue here. I did not change language settings since installing this version in Q1 2023. Suddenly the lock screen is in mandarin.
I think it is very alarming and I frankly do not trust the Windows-team that my systems security has not been compromised

Support couldn't help. (Sorry Jane). Wanted to do a refresh. No time for that now.
Hope they fix it someday, Other PCs I manage are fine though.
