I read an article on MSN news and I want to share it on FaceBook. I get this error message and I have no idea what it means. I have shared from MSN for years and now get this:
App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permission.
Now how do I resolve this?

Your computer has been restarted since the problem began?
I just shared an article with Edge, Chrome and Firefox, so the problem isn't affecting everyone.
Try clearing the Chrome cache. [Ctrl+Alt+Del] > clear cached images and files.
If you're running an ad blocker, try disabling it.
If running third-party antivirus or other security program(s) see if disabling them affects the situation.

Sorry, I was under the impression I was replying to Don Varnau. It appears to be one huge mess at microsoft.
Not a problem and yes, it is a very frustrating mess that I find very hard to believe can't be easily rectified.
Having the same problem using Edge/bing. I wonder if the recent changes to Facebook caused this problem. Occasionally, the share feature does work, dependent upon the original source...which leads me to think that this is an MSN-related issue...and not a browser or FB issue. I prefer MSN as a news feed source, but they have not responded with clarification or a work-around. It might be time to find another news source.
I believe you could be right. I might be able to share one out of 50 MSN posts so I have quit trying - VERY frustrating - since there seems to be no answers in what is going on or in trying to fix it! I too, am in need of another news source but have not found one that covers as much. Let me know if you find one! Also, I would like to know how many people this is happening to? You would think if it affected the majority that there would be a lot more people screaming about it than the few that are on this forum?
