I read an article on MSN news and I want to share it on FaceBook. I get this error message and I have no idea what it means. I have shared from MSN for years and now get this:
App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permission.
Now how do I resolve this?

Your computer has been restarted since the problem began?
I just shared an article with Edge, Chrome and Firefox, so the problem isn't affecting everyone.
Try clearing the Chrome cache. [Ctrl+Alt+Del] > clear cached images and files.
If you're running an ad blocker, try disabling it.
If running third-party antivirus or other security program(s) see if disabling them affects the situation.

I am having the exact same issue as of the last two weeks. I use Google Chrome. This is my computer, I AM the administrator. How dso I resolve this issue? Now, a few minutes ago it said I needed to sign into my microsoft account, when I already am signed in, then it said try to sign in again later as too many attempts to sign in have been made?!? What is going on?!?
I have no idea what is going on but it really is upsetting! I still am not able to share news stories to fb and have done everything that "Don" has recommended. I have looked for answers at Microsoft to no avail - not even a phone number for customer service?! Talking with an AOL tech yesterday about it and he gave me the phone number for Microsoft customer service. Multiple attempts to contact someone but only getting recordings with one telling me that I needed to PAY to talk to a tech? Another time being told by a recording that customer service was not able to talk to customers at this time and thanks for understanding?! It has been maddening, to say the least. You would think with this many people having the same problems that there would be SOMEONE that could give an answer on how to fix it??!!
I have tried ALL of your suggestions and nothing works. I STILL get the error message and cannot share news articles to Facebook. MSN has a serious issue as I see dozens and dozens of people complaining of the same problem, yet you do nothing to resolve it, just keep spinning the same worn out suggestions. What is the problem, the REAL problem?
As I told you, I am in the same boat as you with my having a Microsoft desktop, using Edge. I have absolutely no idea what the problem is, and like you can not get answers to fix it. Sorry.
