I read an article on MSN news and I want to share it on FaceBook. I get this error message and I have no idea what it means. I have shared from MSN for years and now get this:
App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permission.
Now how do I resolve this?

Your computer has been restarted since the problem began?
I just shared an article with Edge, Chrome and Firefox, so the problem isn't affecting everyone.
Try clearing the Chrome cache. [Ctrl+Alt+Del] > clear cached images and files.
If you're running an ad blocker, try disabling it.
If running third-party antivirus or other security program(s) see if disabling them affects the situation.

Dan, I have no idea. I haven't been able to share MSN to FB for so long that I have given up. No luck to trying to contact Microsoft about it either - took me forever to find the phone number and have never been able to get through to them. I have ended up hitting the right tab on the story originator at the top of the post heading and opening in a new tab which takes me to their site, then scrolling to find the article that I want to post to FB. Hope this helps you!
I have an Apple IMac and i have the same problems.
So is my choice to render the Ad blocker useless so i can share face book articles on MSN. Remove my virus blocker so i can share things on FB. I never had to do any of these things before. It wasnt until recently that this happened. Also i noticed that Adobe sent all Apple users an email saying that Adobe would no longer work or be available so i just canceled it when the day of cancellation came around. Do you know if this is an Apple thing?This just happened to me a couple of months ago. I have an Apple I Mac and use Safari not Chrome. What can i do.
