Windows Live Mail stopped working after last Windows 10 update

Since the last update of Windows 10, when I open Windows Live Mail every message produces "Message cannot be displayed." I tried running the "repair" utility, but nothing changed. Is this a widespread issue? I really liked Live Mail and had a lot of messages saved that I can no longer access. HELP!

Could not send or receive e mails.

    Worked great. Very thankful.

HELP.  When I get to the line, all there is:  a small ab symbol, then (default)  REGSZ   (value not set).    What is that?

So, the 3 items aren't there, nothing to add a 1 to.

And, I hate to be stupid but HOW would I add the 3 items you suggest above?

    Thank you, Kathy

Kathy, go to Edit=> New=> DWORD (32 bit) and type in the first entry. Once created, right click and select Modify. Enter 1 in the Value data field. Do that for all three entries and you should be good to go.

Thank you, Louie_101! This worked perfectly after an issue with a 2/2/2021 Windows Update.
