Windows Live Mail stopped working after last Windows 10 update

Since the last update of Windows 10, when I open Windows Live Mail every message produces "Message cannot be displayed." I tried running the "repair" utility, but nothing changed. Is this a widespread issue? I really liked Live Mail and had a lot of messages saved that I can no longer access. HELP!

    I'm a low-tech guy but I have a feeling I see a mistake in the image you attached. Very busy today--can you wait till tomorrow? If so, email me direct (if you can send emails at the moment) with the image to remind me tomorrow, at *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and I'll do my best to sort this for you. If you can't email, send another message to me via the community board TOMORROW (otherwise I'm liable to forget).

    Please be more clear. What did you do to get it to work?

    I added the 3 DWORDS and it does not work.

    Sorry to say this did not work. I still get the message that my emails "cannot be displayed."

    Try creating 3 DWORDs - I used GWORDs (64 bit) & it didn't work. Once I changed it, BINGO! Try that! Thanks, Louie! I would have NEVER gotten this on my own! --- Much Respect Brother!

    My problem has been solved by Microsoft. I too loved Windows Live Mail but mine, I do believe was doing a slow death for the last several months. I think that bloody last Windows 10 update just pushed it over the edge. They installed Mail for windows 10. I wasn't pleased at first but, the more I use it, the better it becomes. And the big Plus is - Microsoft Supports IT!! Something we haven't had for years with Windows Live Mail. I've also instructed Microsoft Not to include me in ANY MORE UPDATES - what they gave us this time is of zero use  to me &, look where things ended up!
