I have the same problem: DWM.EXE is eating much RAM.
My OptiPlex 3060 specs:
RAM: 8 GB of RAM (7.8 GB usable) (now 16 GB of RAM)
SSD (C:): 120 GB installed, 111 GB total space
HDD (D:): 1 TB installed, 930 GB total space
GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 630 (still in use)
Graphics Driver Version (Intel UHD Graphics 630): 27.20.100.9664 (now 30.0.100.9864)
Vulkan Version: 1.2.177 (now 1.2.187)
Operating System: Windows 10 21H1 (Build: 19043.1110) (now 19043.1526)
Display 1: SyncMaster 920NW (VGA) (Optimal Resolution: 1440x900)
Display 2: HP V194 (HDMI to VGA with adapter) (Optimal Resolution: 1366x768)
If I am minimizing these windows= DWM memory leak (actually sticks to ~102-120MB of RAM)
Can you help me?
Can Windows 11 solve this problem?
Do I need 8 or 16 GB of RAM for Windows 11?
Which company is the faulty? Intel or Microsoft? I'm too tired of killing dwm.exe in Windows 10 21H1 on my PC
02:29:00 p. m.: DWM is eating 109.2 MB of my RAM memory
If I am minimizing these windows:
02:44:01 p. m.: DWM is eating 158.9 MB of my RAM memory
07:31:23 p. m.: DWM is getting the memory leakage again (is taking 152.7 MB of my RAM).
Intel, solve this problem.
