Desktop Windows Manager (DWM) memory leakage in Windows 10 (Version 2004).

The infamous dwm.exe hogging lots of memory. FYI this is not a specific program issue. It just happens with any programs, activities randomly.

I'm getting really tired of killing dwm.exe every so often so that it will release the occupied memory. When is this going to be fixed? Is this ever going to be fixed even?

    Well, in my case it seems that it is related to the driver version. After few days and few hibernations, dwm mem usage is still bellow 1GB, or better say, in pretty normal levels

    the version is from october 2020... my observation is that bloating is much slower than with the latest where it was over 3-4GB per DAY

    Sorry I was meaning that post by "IvanPlatoff". Ivan, Vladimir, all the same.

    The rate of grow is not related to the driver version, that is subjective by you, and depends on other things, like how many times the laptop was in sleep or hibernate, how many processes are open accession the driver ect ect ect ect.

    Could you please stop posting your wrong conclusions? That is just subjective. Also please correct your false claims in the Intel forum, that the old driver from 2019 "worked", as you already corrected here. Your conclusions are all irrelevant, because all that was long and countless times debated in the Intel forum.
