Autopilot, Autothrottle and instrumental issues in MS Flight Simulator 2020

OK so what I've noticed is the following. 

1. 787 autopilot is screwed up. Auto throttle getting the plane to decend etc all screwed. 

2 a320 I have noticed that the auto throttle decides to come on randomly especially when landing causing issues. 

That said the other autopilot issues I thought I was having with the Airbus for me anyhow were from a lack of understanding how the Airbus autopilot works specifically auto throttle and managed modes. 

Im an avid pmdg user and have been learning and still continue to learn how Boeing aircraft work but id like to say that as an amateur I've gotten pretty good at managing the systems. The Airbus however is Greek to me so I'm starting over. 

So I hope the following helps 

1. After takeoff if you want to toggle the auto throttle and altitude management you have to make sure of a few things 

A. You move the throttle off the toga level and into the CLB setting. 

B. Clicking on the bottom of the speed knob will give you selected speed mode meaning the level you choose or click the top of the knob will give you managed speed which will use the speeds programmed in the fmc

C similar with altitude. When in managed speed mode and atc tells you decend to 15000 but in the fmc it has the way point altitude as 16000 it will stay at 16000. This is Especially true at airports like paro where there are a lot of mountains and there are minimum altitudes programmed in the fmc. To bypass this you will have to use the VS knob

D with the VS knob there are a few bugs but I have found if you toggle the VS knob on first by clicking the bottom and then use your mouse wheel to increase or decrease the VS it works like a charm. 

So after that long winded msg I guess what I'm trying to say is check the position of your throttle handles. That has a lot to do with the autopilot on the Airbus. The position of the throttle will be indicated above your airspeed.

They literally made a "GARBAGE" game. I feel like I'm playing arcade with good scenery but simulation. It means I was deceived by the developers who categorized the game as "simulation. They just borrowed the IP and title from the previous game and "didn't implement the main features" in the game. If those features are not in the game, we have to call FS2020 as an arcade game.

Watching scenery without main features? Buy only Porsche without a home and live in the car in your entire lifetime. Stupid Asobo.

I feel like the IQs of developers who designed autopilot and ILS are lower than monkeys.

OR they didn't test those which is worse than monkey IQs.

OR they ignored the QA report. In this case MS blows  up the game studio which doesn't have qualification to make a game.

Garbage game. I will refund the game.

Ive worked out the autopilot in the A320Neo. Took some time.

But as for the 747. Its totally stuffed for me. I get runaway trim when trying to set a V/S speed. Goes up and down and does not hold a selected V/S at all.

The autopilot also cannot seem to follow the track line. Its always going left and right.

The 747 is totally broken!

FIX it microsoft. I paid you $170AUD money for something I expected to WORK. Bugs all over the place.

Yeah I totally agree. This product went from alpha to released really really fast. Basically we paid for a massive beta release. It's smart on their end because they have a massive pool of beta testers who don't know they are beta testing but as the consumer it's really frustrating. Especially since the product looks so incredible but the autopilot system and even the flight control is bugged. I paid for the premium one and the 787 is trash too. 

My top issues are 

1. Autopilot system nightmare 787 747 are totally trash. A320 is hit or miss and toggling things just doesn't work sometimes but it's the most working one. 
2. Sim rate is so hard to get started. I press Control shift r +/- so many times before it works.  There is no indication of what simrate you are at. You have to hope your aircraft has a clock to see if the seconds are moving too fast or slow. Also it has the same simrate /time acceleration issues that fsx had. The aircraft can't maintain altitude  and will sometimes spin out of control

3.smaller issue but removing  waypoints on the fmc isn't real. On boeing aircraft  it's as easy as tapping one soft key and then tapping another to move one waypoint in front of the other. The fact I can't do that drives me insane. 

4. No replay come on now. That's a huge part of fsx

I'm not too worried this product looks incredible and I'm sure fixes will be released considering how hyped the product is. I know a major patch was scheduled for this week and delayed so I'm hoping it brings a lot of cures

Pmdg will be our savior their products are always top notch. The 737 is scheduled to be the first released in the late fall or early 2021.

To top it off, I bought the premium deluxe, but only got the standard version.

Neither Amazon or Microsoft are willing to budge so it's looking like I am going to take one of them through the small  claims process.
