Will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 support multiple monitors?

For example, one monitor for instruments, another for front view, one for left, and one for right?

This is opposed to one view being spread over two monitors.

You can span the display using Nvidia's Surround, which is part of the Nvidia control panel. 

There is something similar to this if you are using an AMD video card.

At present, FS2020 DOES NOT allow you to open new additional windows for separate instruments, views, etc., like it did in FSX.

Hopefully Microsoft will address this in the future, and make this benefit available, ... although I doubt it, because the software is designed to mainly run under an XBOX single window environment (using either a PC as in XBOX Beta for PC or on an XBOX console.)

I'm currently running FS2020 using three screens with a resolution of 5760 x 1200, and FS2020 runs fine across these three monitors which are in Nvidia's Surround (so it looks like one big, very wide screen monitor.) And this works great, EXCEPT it would be nice to be able to open up another window for just the instruments, like I could do under FSX. 

One of the trade-offs, of going with the much, much, much more advanced FS2020 software.

    Thanks in advance for any help. One tip... there's an NVidia shortcut [ctrl][alt][S] to switch to Surround.

    The only thing I did was go into my Nvidia video card by right clicking on my mouse going into setting and there is a button that auto make your 3 monitors into one big one, and the cool thing is when I uncheck it my monitors go back to normal but when I start Sim it remembers the setting and the Res. Never crashed looks great. I will try to get more detail settings and photo of setting.

    Interesting that you got this to work. I have 3 Dell S2716DG (2560x1440 @144Hz) monitors connected via display ports to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080.

    I setup Surround like I normally do, started FS2020, options->video change res to 7680x1440. The intro screen handles that but crashes to the desktop as soon as I try to load a training mission. Tried restarting but got the same result and had to edit the ...appdata\roaming\microsoft flight simulator\UserCfg.opt file to change the resolution back then turned off Surround and restarted the game and all was well. I was thinking multiple monitor support wasn't yet implemented.

    I'm wondering what the difference is. Maybe I could try setting up 2 monitors in the surround setup?

    Also, there is a keyboard shortcut Right-Alt that said New UI Window?

    Might this answer, "At present, FS2020 DOES NOT allow you to open new additional windows for separate instruments, views, etc.,"?

    Any ideas?
