Will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 support multiple monitors?

For example, one monitor for instruments, another for front view, one for left, and one for right?

This is opposed to one view being spread over two monitors.

You can span the display using Nvidia's Surround, which is part of the Nvidia control panel. 

There is something similar to this if you are using an AMD video card.

At present, FS2020 DOES NOT allow you to open new additional windows for separate instruments, views, etc., like it did in FSX.

Hopefully Microsoft will address this in the future, and make this benefit available, ... although I doubt it, because the software is designed to mainly run under an XBOX single window environment (using either a PC as in XBOX Beta for PC or on an XBOX console.)

I'm currently running FS2020 using three screens with a resolution of 5760 x 1200, and FS2020 runs fine across these three monitors which are in Nvidia's Surround (so it looks like one big, very wide screen monitor.) And this works great, EXCEPT it would be nice to be able to open up another window for just the instruments, like I could do under FSX. 

One of the trade-offs, of going with the much, much, much more advanced FS2020 software.

    Interesting. When I shut down FSX the undocked windows are not still open when I restart.  I am also trying to expand my system to use multiple monitors. I have two running off one Nvidia card. What kind of system are you using that supports five monitors?

    It shouldn't. When I was using FSX, and I had multiple windows opened up on five different monitors, when I shut down FSX I left those undocked windows opened. The next time I launched FSX, those windows were still there, only small (you have to drag the corner to expand to the size you want.) 

    So if you shut down FSX with some additional undocked windows left open, then they should re-appear again, the next time you use FSX.

    Belay that last post, I found out that putting it in virtual cockpit view allowed me to change the view.

    Next question. All of that goes away when FSX shuts down. Is there a way to have it remember the configuration when it loads?

    That worked! Alt-Enter showed the top menu, New View appeared as an option and I was able to drag the new view to a different monitor. My next question is how to change the view. The new view I opened, undocked and moved to a different monitor still has the same view as the original window. I tried panning the view right using the same joystick activity that allows me to change the main view but no joy. Any tips?
