Will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 support multiple monitors?

For example, one monitor for instruments, another for front view, one for left, and one for right?

This is opposed to one view being spread over two monitors.

You can span the display using Nvidia's Surround, which is part of the Nvidia control panel. 

There is something similar to this if you are using an AMD video card.

At present, FS2020 DOES NOT allow you to open new additional windows for separate instruments, views, etc., like it did in FSX.

Hopefully Microsoft will address this in the future, and make this benefit available, ... although I doubt it, because the software is designed to mainly run under an XBOX single window environment (using either a PC as in XBOX Beta for PC or on an XBOX console.)

I'm currently running FS2020 using three screens with a resolution of 5760 x 1200, and FS2020 runs fine across these three monitors which are in Nvidia's Surround (so it looks like one big, very wide screen monitor.) And this works great, EXCEPT it would be nice to be able to open up another window for just the instruments, like I could do under FSX. 

One of the trade-offs, of going with the much, much, much more advanced FS2020 software.

    But can you set the field of view for each monitor? A widescreen view is not the same as a wraparound view.

    IMHO in general its best to let the card, the software and monitors ‘negotiate’ the optimal settings.  I’ve not encountered anything of great value in manual configs, except for specifying max fps for xp11.  Others may disagree, but be aware that if you go down that road you’ve taken on another layer of maintenance and configuration responsibilities for the various apps you have which may require different manual tweaking to undo what youve done for msfs.

    The height will be the same as one monitor but the width should combine the resolution of all monitors.  If it isn’t its likely that the GPU surround config is not quite correct.  Check Windows display settings to make sure your GPU driver is configured correctly.  MSFS will work off the Windows config.

    With an NVIDIA card you can configure multiple monitors to look like one wide monitor to Windows and MSFS.  Surround mode.  Must use Window mode not Full Screen when configuring in MSFS otherwise its distorted.
