Will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 support multiple monitors?

For example, one monitor for instruments, another for front view, one for left, and one for right?

This is opposed to one view being spread over two monitors.

You can span the display using Nvidia's Surround, which is part of the Nvidia control panel.

There is something similar to this if you are using an AMD video card.

At present, FS2020 DOES NOT allow you to open new additional windows for separate instruments, views, etc., like it did in FSX.

Hopefully Microsoft will address this in the future, and make this benefit available, ... although I doubt it, because the software is designed to mainly run under an XBOX single window environment (using either a PC as in XBOX Beta for PC or on an XBOX console.)

I'm currently running FS2020 using three screens with a resolution of 5760 x 1200, and FS2020 runs fine across these three monitors which are in Nvidia's Surround (so it looks like one big, very wide screen monitor.) And this works great, EXCEPT it would be nice to be able to open up another window for just the instruments, like I could do under FSX.

One of the trade-offs, of going with the much, much, much more advanced FS2020 software.

Actually one monitor has the higher resolution but it takes the lowest resolution monitor and applies that to all.

...and I'm guessing that the default (recommended) resolution for your monitors is 1920x1080? (mine are 2560x1440)

I found Surround in Full Screen was not distorted. Yes, the logo load screen graphics are but once it loads the main menu everything was as expected with the active menu in the center screen and preview of other menus (accessible from the header tabs). In flight, I didn't notice any distortion and found it quite satisfying. With my setup I was achieving 30-60 FPS with my 3 monitors at default res 2560x1440... so I'm basically thrilled. I was going to try the 3 at 1920x1080 but didn't see a 5760x1080 res offered in game. I may give some of the options a go but was having too much fun.

I have 4 monitors (3 wide, 1 on top) and it's cool to be able to pop out the objectives, maps and other windows to my 4th monitor. They did a nice job allowing the mouse to traverse to other monitors seamlessly.

What I STILL can't figure out is the  New UI Window Mode - RIGHT ALT keyboard shortcut. I was hoping it was what it says and that I could get a new user interface window that I could zoom to the instruments but Right ALT doesn't seem to do anything... at least so far for me.

    Interesting.  I have the 5760x1080

option as default with 3 screens.
