Will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 support multiple monitors?

For example, one monitor for instruments, another for front view, one for left, and one for right?

This is opposed to one view being spread over two monitors.

You can span the display using Nvidia's Surround, which is part of the Nvidia control panel.

There is something similar to this if you are using an AMD video card.

At present, FS2020 DOES NOT allow you to open new additional windows for separate instruments, views, etc., like it did in FSX.

Hopefully Microsoft will address this in the future, and make this benefit available, ... although I doubt it, because the software is designed to mainly run under an XBOX single window environment (using either a PC as in XBOX Beta for PC or on an XBOX console.)

I'm currently running FS2020 using three screens with a resolution of 5760 x 1200, and FS2020 runs fine across these three monitors which are in Nvidia's Surround (so it looks like one big, very wide screen monitor.) And this works great, EXCEPT it would be nice to be able to open up another window for just the instruments, like I could do under FSX.

One of the trade-offs, of going with the much, much, much more advanced FS2020 software.

I agree with Pilot11CA, in that FS2020, has great scenery, and well done graphics, including the cockpit graphics, and the animated graphics at airports, etc., and very good flight characteristics, but as far as a serious flight simulator, "Forgetta' Bout It" ... I think it lacks a lot of things.

And I don't understand why they changed so many of the keyboard key assignments from FSX? And got rid of the pull-down menus that were in FSX and contained A LOT OF OPTIONS, that are lacking in FS2020.  In FS2020, you've got very limited available menu options.

So yes, I think that FS2020, is much more of a hyped up flight simulator "game" rather then a serious flight simulator, ESPECIALLY  if you compare it to what FSX,  PrePar3D or X-Plane 11 are (with all of the available add-ons) and what these sims can do.

And without having the ability to open additional screens (a big mistake that was made with MS Flight also, which is why that flight sim "game" died) IS a serious drawback of FS2020.

I'd like to know where were all of the so-called (FSX experienced) beta testers where for FS2020?

Didn't any of these beta testers suggest this?

Or was it simply that the developers ignored this VERY nice feature that's currently a part of FSX and X-Plane 11?

Of course not. Why would they? They sell millions of copies of this "game" but when it comes to any actual support, documentation (like a list of the re-assigned keyboard key shortcuts) or answering community questions about the sim, well  ..... "Forgetta' Bout It!"

Just got first go on this hyped up flight sim. Just about everyone doing any kind of serious VFR training is using at least two screens most use three, UNTIL YOU ARE ABLE TO USE MULTIPLE MONITORS with independent set up of veiws like x plane, in my opinion it’s a great arcade game with great scenery. I set the controls to hardest jumped in and took of, flew around and landed with just the rudder pedals and throttle.   Really Great scenery.

I’ll be using ortho waiting for X-Plane to catch up. Did I mention fs has really good scenery.
