Will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 support multiple monitors?

For example, one monitor for instruments, another for front view, one for left, and one for right?

This is opposed to one view being spread over two monitors.

You can span the display using Nvidia's Surround, which is part of the Nvidia control panel.

There is something similar to this if you are using an AMD video card.

At present, FS2020 DOES NOT allow you to open new additional windows for separate instruments, views, etc., like it did in FSX.

Hopefully Microsoft will address this in the future, and make this benefit available, ... although I doubt it, because the software is designed to mainly run under an XBOX single window environment (using either a PC as in XBOX Beta for PC or on an XBOX console.)

I'm currently running FS2020 using three screens with a resolution of 5760 x 1200, and FS2020 runs fine across these three monitors which are in Nvidia's Surround (so it looks like one big, very wide screen monitor.) And this works great, EXCEPT it would be nice to be able to open up another window for just the instruments, like I could do under FSX.

One of the trade-offs, of going with the much, much, much more advanced FS2020 software.

The experience very much depends on the use you want to give to FS. For instance I`d like to retrain on real flight skills. There are some exercises that has to do with ground reference maneuvers, such as  Turning around a point, Wind drift Circle, S-Turns. In those you need to look right below to the left or right. A huge distorted frontal view might look awesome for playing but it is not very useful and realistic if you want to practice real flying skills.

TrackIR could be a solution for you.

Dan you may have discovered this on your own, but IMHO if you have a good quality 65" monitor using only that would likely give you a better experience that 2 or more monitors configured with surround.  Also consider TrackIR.

I am having the same issue. I wanna set up a home cockpit with MFS2020. Putting a 65-70 inch tv at front, and 55 inch on both left and right 90 degree to the big TV at front. By going with NVIDIA 3 display setting, both my side TVs are not showing the real "SIDE VIEWs", instead, they will be showing the same front views but just make it wider.

Example: If I fly pass a cow farm on my left, I wanna be able to turn my head to the left TV and see that farm on the ground while passing it. With all the discussion above regarding the NVIDIA video card settings, there will be no cow farm can be seen when I fly pass it. In other words, I wanna be able to see the farm even after I pass it and I look back on my side window. Any suggestions?
