I have unsubscribe from this thread but yet I am still getting daily emails which I don not want to get.

I rather use Ubuntu Linux, or any Linux Variants. Or running other Unix platform such as FreeBSD. Macs are prone to Apple T2 Chip crashes. And can rendered Brick the computer. Check Louis Rossman youtube video(s). That is something to be aware off before buying an apple macs! I'm aware. I don't want to manage my home systems though; I have to do enough of that at work. I just want to use my home system; not manage it. I finally figured out the issue but good luck finding the solution from MSFT. It turns out that the latest cumulative updates are checking for ucode updates. This is not mentioned in the release notes. My system was booting until mcupdate_GenuineIntel.dll load. At this point the logger would load and that was the end of all processing. No Memory dump. No other failure log that I could find. Here's my boot log: BOOTLOG_LOADED \SystemRoot\system32\ntoskrnl.exe BOOTLOG_LOADED \SystemRoot\system32\hal.dll BOOTLOG_LOADED \SystemRoot\system32\kd.dll BOOTLOG_LOADED \SystemRoot\system32\mcupdate_GenuineIntel.dll BOOTLOG_LOADED \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\CLFS.SYS After updating the BIOS to include the latest ucode updates for my platform the cumulative update succeeded.

**I no longer have control how Windows does it's updates since Windows 10 came along. I used to have it set for Windows to let me know there are updates and what updates they were, so I could update in the order I choosed. Is there a way to set it up to do that again? Like I said above, Windows doesn't allow me to do that. I looked for a way to set it up for me to decide what to download/install first, and was told by Microsoft when I called them, Windows 10 updates install on their own; very frustrating
