Good Afternoon, I rescently installed the above updates and now my computer speed has reduced to a crawl, to the point it has been completely unusable. The c drive appears to be running at 100 % with nothing else running. I have attempted to reduce disk space usage by disabling superfetch and windows search, niether of which worked. I am also unable to uninstall the rescent updates. Please advice on the best solution. Regards, Eamonn

Did exactly that (twice now). Thinking i should get a new tower! IF you get a new tower, and when MS updates get installed against your will once again, you may be back in the same boat you're in now. Hope your provider can help and also hoping you get the job! This stuff is getting crazier and crazier.

RE: your next post about drivers etc. Consider yourself lucky you are not dealing with driver issues as many of us are, were or will be :D I have no clue what the Kaomoji keyboard shortcut bug is. Don't think it will affect me at all. You also are MUCH more knowledgeable about computers than I am and, therefore, may be able to fix things a lot quicker than me or know ways to prevent them from happening in the first place. My driver is fine. my device is an old laptop, a TOSHIBA Satellite L645 laptop. Specification: CPU: Intel Core I3 350M (1st Generation Intel Core, Code name Arrandale) RAM: 2 GB DDR3 Speed: 1067 MHz Storage: 320 GB Hitachi HDD With 5400 RPM Rotation speed with SATA AHCI Mode I still doubt Driver Booster Programs Such as: Iobit Driver Booster and I entrust Driver Update Through Windows Update Only. Note: I depend on the same Memory cleaner program and include: RAMMap by Syinternals, to prevent the Program from being moved to a Page File. Admittedly, I had to web search most of what you responded. i.e. kaomoji emoji panel, lobit Driver Booster, RAMMap, etc.. You make my head spin :) Way over my head. Wellll..... I went to the DARK SIDE : I checked my version of EDGE and it was out of date. So I went to MS and downloaded the newest version thinking it may stop nagging me. No such luck. I played around with it some but I still don't plan on using it. I guess it's just a matter of what I'm familiar with. I wish MS would first focus on fixing the problem with the update rather than playing around with new browsers, keyboards, etc. At this point, my thinking is: so many people have different issues with the update that there is not ONE single fix to repair it. Things that are broken for some are not the same things that are broken for others. How do they fix that with a patch??? Thinking impossible. Sorry I can't do anything about Uninstalling the Update. About the 100% Disk Usage Problem: I have read the Articles on various Websites. Upgrade your HDD to an SSD (Solid State Drive) for best performance and increase the loading times of Windows 10 and other Heavy Programs. especially if your device supports NVME Port better than SSD SATA Port. (Recommended) Go to your local computer service to upgrade your HDD to SSD.
