thank you so much.
I have another question. Since I have Windows cumulative updates "on hold" for now --i rolled back to version 1909 after many problems with newest update.
If I understand correctly, I THINK I should be getting Important/Critical updates manually--per Tuesday updates. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.
I have version 1909, BUILD #18363.1016.
Not sure where to go to get those updates. I've looked in several places and my build number does now show. My last update was on 8/25/20 as shown below. If someone could explain this to me, I'd really appreciate you help. Many thanks!
Got that and screen capture on my screen.
Guess I'm just thick-headed (ignorant) on this issue, and many others. I've done exactly what you've shown me numerous times. The WindowsUpdate is not showing up at all. I added it manually once and it showed up Under UX. Made me nervous that it did not show up Under WindowsSelfHost as shown on your screen capture. So, I deleted it. I also know I need to do something with a D WORD once I add the WindowsUpdate Manually. Way above my abilities and understanding.
I remember when this issue was initially posted about, other users also said they did not have WindowsUpdate showing either. I dunno. I DO KNOW one false move in registry can cause more problems than I already have! Appreciate you trying to help. Thank you!
