SINCE THE MOST RECENT WINDOWS 10 UPDATE, OUR 'HP PRINTER' IS MALFUNCTIONING AND WINDOWS 10 WILL NOT INSTALL THIS PRINTER DRIVER FILE...IT'S NOT EVEN RECOGNISED WHEN I LOOK FOR AN APP TO INSTALL IT: PLEASE HELP. One obvious thing.... in control panel (hardware and sound-devices and printers), is your HP printer listed at all and is it set as your default printer? One time mine was changed to windows XPS document writer as the default printer. I had to change the default to my printer. (Do you still have the disk that came with your printer to install drivers?) Other than that, perhaps someone else has an idea for you.

I wish u stop cooying and pasing non of this issues helped i had to do a clesn instsll of windows tk get the patch to finally download so no nothing u did helped resolved the mstter.

I had this happen to me once. One obvious thing.... in control panel (hardware and sound-devices and printers), is your HP printer listed at all and is it set as your default printer?
