    No, I am not at all happy to go through that agonising process with 'Microsoft Community' to be told after days, to of run out of options, meaning its up to me to unsolve a hopeless situation. With Microsoft being the main organisation who should be able to help out with "ANY" technical query, and even suggesting I can get help from joining, I find it all a bit of a joke and total let down! Anthony

    Actually, you might be able to do it without deleting your email account on your computer.  The hardest part is actually getting to the key itself.

    All you really need to do is open the email account’s settings within the Mail app & change the password to the created one. :)

    YES! It worked!  Thank you Time Lady for the link to article KM1240308.  The steps listed there say that a "secure mail key" is need to access your email from whatever email program you use on your computer.  So I just deleted my old account and pasted the key generated on Yahoo's website to the re-added email account on my computer.  Just paste it in the window that asks for your password.  

    Great news. :)
