I lost all my passwords on all my browsers

I lost all my passwords on all my browsers with the last Windows update. Every time I try to get support, I am directed to the spot to "save" passwords. They are still there allowing them to be saved. Each time I sign on to a site, I am asked if I want to save. I always say yes, but it still never saves. I had to change all my passwords and write them down because I didn't remember them because they were all saved before that update.  This is annoying, to say the least. Please, don't advise me on how to go into my browser settings and choose to save passwords. I know that. Everyone does.; It doesn't work!

I have been working on getting this fixed since the last update/ I got blocked out of my bank for attempting to use what I thought was my password.

I wish to opt-out of Windows updates. They only serve to make PC users, annoyed!

This is EXACTLY what is happened with me after the forced MS update yesterday.  It won't even remember my password for my Outlook account.  It's a freakin' nightmare and I've spent a day trying to find a solution and nothing works.  The worst is when somebody gives some patronizing answer that suggests they don't even believe you.

Yes same happened to me. There was a huge update (that even though I had scheduled it for some reason started in the middle of the day and took a long time) and all of my saved passwords were wiped out. Then 2 days ago, I again had my computer reboot and my passwords are wiped out. FYI, I am using Chrome.

I have used Chrome, Edge, IE Fox and Opera. None will hold my passwords. I tried syncing them then not scyning them. For ove a month or two. I am about to try opening a new email and starting all over.

Well You sure assume a lot. I just want the problem taken care of and I know it didn't exist for over 11 years on this PC, until that update. No smart remarks (in this case dumb) needed. THINK ABOUT THAT!
