I lost all my passwords on all my browsers

I tried that also. Both my accounts are linked to each other. At that time, I couldn't go into the single account I had at all. I did delete (uninstall) the security upgrade, as you suggested and immediately it deemed my computer, unavailable. I didn't say I made a new Microsoft account. It is a local account used to sign in. Anyway, my Google is working well for me, so I still leave all my passwords there and save them to WORD also.,

Hope everyone finds a work around until Microsoft fixes this mess.

so much for Agile development methodology. at Microsoft.   When folks move to CI/CD quality goes to sh*t   the qa team is let go and what a surprise. ...   bugs galore.   kind of need a QA team to hold developers feet to the fire for lousy code

I was a quality auditor before I retired and from what I see M$ couldn't get ISO certified if their lives depended on it. Now I have lost a lot of thoughts and education in the last few years but what I see should never happen. They are far more interested in bobbles and bangles than quality. OPn the other hand I have to congratulate them for NOT following the common format for Customer Service that has brought in a new realm of incompetent fools that is so common in the tech industry. I did work at a CS desk for a time and we didn't have a computer prompting us with a handful of basic useless questions like they normally do now. I had to know the original DOS and every version of Windows from 3.0 up to the current of that time. I have had the opportunity to talk with 2nd tier and high lever techs at M$ on the phone and they did a great job even if they didn't resolve the issue at hand. My only concern is that they resort to telling us to REINSTALL Windows at the drop of a hat. Why even have diagnostics and other tools to discover faults and never even use them. And to all I want everyone to remember that WIndows is now made by a third party or so I am told. So that is a BIG concern. I am wondering if that third party is Giggle?

I too, have been on computers starting with DOS. They were not fun! I agree with everything you have said. Less bangles and more jangles. It has been well over a month and still no fix for this mess. Well, it sure helped me to decide that I DON'T want to buy a Microsoft surface!

Right?!!  I now get emails from Microsoft telling me to go to their store, see all the new stuff!  R U kidding me?  Run away from them!
