Hi,

i think the latest update has removed the CsEnabled option and additional power plans aren't available...

plz help with it..

This very thing happened to me exactly. If you read the entire thread apparently Microsoft did away with that.

MS PLEASE BRING BACK THE POWER OPTIONS my surface is useless now.

The CsEnabled not available anymore for windows 10 v2004 but you can still restore all the power plans and power settings: DOWNLOAD

There is no need to use a command prompt or registry editor and all you need to do is just click on the batch file then it is fixed.

POWER SCHEMES FOLDER:

Power Saver & High Performance ~ To import the original windows power plans.

Ultimate Performance ~ This power plan is only to be used on higher-end PCs.

Restore Profile ~ To clear and reset the original Windows Power Profile.

POWER SETTINGS FOLDER:

Default Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows standard power settings.

Advanced Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows expert power settings.

Settings Disable ~ To automatically remove all the windows power settings.

Troubleshooter ~ To fix problems with power settings and conserve battery life.

DEFAULT & ADVANCED OPTIONS:

To manually enable or disable your own power settings by clicking on the reg files.

DIAGNOSE TOOLS:

A collection of diagnostic windows system power tools for fault-finding the issues.

    EDIT: Just found the other read me - no spaces in folder name. Gotcha!

    This looks like a potential solution for me. I have a HP ZBook with a core i7 10850 and a Quadro p2000 I think. So a decent laptop. But I can't utilise the full performance so it bugs me.

    I get these issues when trying your solution, any ideas? I'm fairly new to using these tools but I have in the past. No good at troubleshooting.

    Excuse my late reply as I don't often reply in the Microsoft community forum and the best way to reply is on my youtube video but anyway I've now updated Revolutions folder files so that you no longer need to enter the command in the prompt console and all you need to do is two-clicks on high-performance plan then it fixed and done also comes with power system diagnostic tools. I hope you find this helpful.     My previous post on page 2 has the Windows official power scheme files with the CsEabled fix and is the only method that actually works!

    After trying your first powercfg command method and restarting my computer it did not add the performance power plan.

    It just added another balanced power plan. Now I have two balanced power plans.

    You shouldn't have it because there are no balanced power plans when using the powercfg command in the read me file.

    Power Saver Scheme:

    powercfg -duplicatescheme a1841308-3541-4fab-bc81-f71556f20b4a

    High Performance Scheme:

    powercfg -duplicatescheme 8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c

    Ultimate Performance Scheme:

    powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61

    If this fails then go to the next step and import power plans from the pow file and using the import powercfg command.

    HOW TO IMPORT MISSING POWER SCHEME:

    1. Go to Windows start and right-click on the mouse and in the menu select PowerShell (Admin).

    2. Before you can import, you will need to edit this command as the same directory path on your computer.

    ENTER: powercfg -import C:\Users\NAME\Desktop\Revolutions\Schemes\PLAN.pow

    3. You need to change the NAME path to your Windows username and if don't know it, enter netplwiz then click properties.

    4. Next, you will need to change the PLAN.pow path to either Power-Saver, High-Performance or Ultimate-Performance.

    5. Now you're ready to copy & paste this import command to the PowerShell console and press the Return key.

    6. Also you will have to set activate your new power plan but you need to add the GUID code.

    ENTER: powercfg -setactive GUID

    7. Firstly you need to copy the GUID code from your new power plan by press the Ctrl key + C key.

    8. Secondly, paste the GUID code next to the set active command by press the Ctrl key + V key and press the Return key.

    9. Finally to verify your new power plan has been successful.

    ENTER: powercfg -list or powercfg -list

    10. Now press the Return key and a list of all your power plan schemes will be shown.

    My previous post on page 2 has the Windows official power scheme files with the CsEabled fix and is the only method that actually works!
