Hi,

i think the latest update has removed the CsEnabled option and additional power plans aren't available...

plz help with it..

This very thing happened to me exactly. If you read the entire thread apparently Microsoft did away with that.

MS PLEASE BRING BACK THE POWER OPTIONS my surface is useless now.

The CsEnabled not available anymore for windows 10 v2004 but you can still restore all the power plans and power settings: DOWNLOAD

There is no need to use a command prompt or registry editor and all you need to do is just click on the batch file then it is fixed.

POWER SCHEMES FOLDER:

Power Saver & High Performance ~ To import the original windows power plans.

Ultimate Performance ~ This power plan is only to be used on higher-end PCs.

Restore Profile ~ To clear and reset the original Windows Power Profile.

POWER SETTINGS FOLDER:

Default Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows standard power settings.

Advanced Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows expert power settings.

Settings Disable ~ To automatically remove all the windows power settings.

Troubleshooter ~ To fix problems with power settings and conserve battery life.

DEFAULT & ADVANCED OPTIONS:

To manually enable or disable your own power settings by clicking on the reg files.

DIAGNOSE TOOLS:

A collection of diagnostic windows system power tools for fault-finding the issues.

    I should also note all method 1 accomplished was giving me 3 balanced power options and still no way to modify advanced power options . I am at the point of just returning my dell xps and getting an apple.

    To completely reset and restore all power schemes to default settings try this command**:**

    powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

    But the Dell power plan will be deleted and if you wish to save it then enter this command:

    powercfg -list
    powercfg -export Dell GUID

    To restore Dell power plan use this command:

    powercfg -import Dell

    powercfg -setactive GUID

    NOTE: Press Crtl + C to copy & Press Crtl + V to paste the GUID code.

    My previous post on page 2 has the Windows official power scheme files with the CsEabled fix and is the only method that actually works!

    and once again.... Amazing help!!! Thank you so much!!! I'm the happiest Windows user as I was before Microsoft changes all these helpful additional energy settings! So great having back all these nice things! LOVE IT!!!
