AOL Mail sync with Windows 10

I've had an e-mail from AOL saying that from 20 October they are no longer supporting third party access such as Windows 10 as they may not be secure and to sign in directly via the web or their app.

I'm disappointed with this action as it means I don't have access on the Windows platform which I find is great and simple to use, so is there any way I can still continue to access my e-mails using Windows 10 after October or will they now be blocked.

Hope you can persuade AOL to change their minds.

    I don't know what you're saying, or what it means. It's like political bonds or measures. If they need a "Yes" vote, it is written  to look like a negative is a positive. If they want a "No" vote, it's written like the earth is going to explode. 

    Thus, when you say you're disappointed that in my action to exclude a third party ( I guess you?), I'm thinking you're spying on me, so I try to block the interference. If allowing you to see my posts, etc. and it's good for me, then why didn't you make that perfectly clear in the first place. 

    Perhaps you can clear it up? I'm not a computer expert. Doug

    Again I'm confused. I'm 80 and not computer literate. What is my (AOL) account, app's passwords? What do I know? I use email and facebook and play fantasy baseball. What more do I need to function properly? Your print is usually too small. You post benefits but discover things cost money,,, why?
