Hi all,
My PC has been working fine before, but decided to act up today. Out of a sudden, my bluetooth is turned off, and there is no option to turn it back on. I tried reinstalling the drivers, remove, and repair, but it did not help.
The Bluetooth Adapter is still not showing up in my Device Manager, even when I select to show Hidden Devices.
Now I am stuck, unable to connect to my speakers, controllers, and keyboard. Gotta quickly find a wired keyboard just to type this. On a side note, WiFi is working fine too.
Mainboard is a Gigabyte Aorus B550i, installed both bluetooth drivers from Gigabyte and from Intel, didn't help. Bluetooth adapter is an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200.
Please help :(

If it means anything here's what is installed for drivers on mine since.
Sorry for your dilemma as I can't stand buying something then having to take up a USB port when it's supposed to be included onboard and the reason you bought the device is because it's included in the first place.
Possible Gigabyte's fault .. but I recall seeing similar issues with ASUS motherboards. Perhaps they get their BIOS from the same company (Award, AMI etc). Furthermore, the comments in the last Intel driver release seem suspicious (even though it didn't fix the issue). Still, it is very frustrating that it doesn't seem to be fixed or that anyone is paying attention!
PS: I ended up buying a cheap USB bluetooth dongle as I became sick of having to shutdown, power off etc. Quality is not as good but at least it works consistently for now until Gigabyte / Intel fix the real issue.
Yea pretty much Bikematt, myself I had all the above issues however I always DID find it when I clicked on HIDDEN DEVICES in Device Manager but of course it was grayed out (you could right click on it and get a context menu but clicking enable wouldn't work).
Regardless I bought a 15 dollar Amazon BT5 Bluetooth adapter as I needed BT for quite a few things I use.
In the interim I was disgruntled like you with my NEW build that I had picked exclusively to have BT5 and Wifi6 built on the motherboard (my board being Gigabyte Aorus mini iTX B550i V1.0) and flashed the BIOS to the latest version after trying the power plug removal trick 3 times and after a cold shutdown it would again disappear.
Anyways I reflashed back to an earlier BIOS F2 and tried the power plug trick again and now since I did that which is going on a good month it's never had another issue! So I bought that extra BT adapter for nothing but I'll keep it just as a backup should it fail but I'm confident now as my PC has been unplugged a few times and it's always working great!
So like you I think I'm still blaming Gigabyte for the glitch.

Thank you. This just saved me from a low Wife Acceptance Factor for the new build. (GB B550i AX Pro here).
She kept telling me she couldn't see any of her Cameo (vinyl cutters) anymore and Bluetooth was just gone, and until I had a chance to look at it today I didn't quite believe her. But after the ratrace of not even finding the hidden devices, re-running the downloads from the manufacturer all acting like the module didn't even exist, I was tearing my (nonexistent) hair out.
Any idea what makes the module just drop out? Static shock or overheating putting it into a shutdown protect mode and never coming back on its own? (As with others here, the Wifi never stopped working....) EDIT - never mind, reading on about the power settings....
I think it is Gigabytes fault. Something is disabling the Bluetooth on normal computer shutdown inappropriately. Not surebut Gigabyte has not answered my emails or phone calls???
I don't know what to tell you about this issue (I also had this issue on a Gibabyte Aorus B550i Mini iTX AMD motherboard). What did fix mine ( I Think) was eventually doing the total shutdown, remove power plug etc and of course removing any Bluetooth Devices after showing hidden devices.
This fix I tried several times to only have it disappear after turning my PC off it would always fail but somehow as of late for the past couple weeks it is fixed.
Also to note I downgraded my motherboards BIOS to version F2 for my board.
