Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Installation Problems

thank you for this news.   I was trying to do it today,   but when I went to the website downloads you so kindly sent me,   it was a long list   and I was unable to find  the actual down load.   would you kindly send me  the answer to this    thank you      charles

Hello, Mathew.    I have now fully  implemented   your file, however I am sad to say  it didn't work.   I have a  constant loop   after  getting into the launch stage    I am given  or should I say  no option but to  update.   at one end of the screen.  it says  729Gigs and at the other end above the  update it has 37.gigs.     What I cant understand is   why it is not shutting off after  1 full 24 hours,   it still persists on downloading updates,  and I  am sure,   that cant be right  from installing  10 DVD s.      so my friend,  I am not any further on.  I did find away around the library problem, but  still no further on.   I think I did every thing you said  with the download,  so there is no question,   my fault isn't what  we thought when you kindly wrote to me.

Every time I try to boot the  Flight Sim from the library,   I just  get a start  all over again.    it does say pause on this download for updates,  and it has resume.    but if you shut down the computer  it wipes every thing out.    That's as much as I can say up to now. I did a step recorder,   for Germany, but   haven't had a reply at this time.   Don't know if you have any more help,    but thank you for all your interest.      Charles UK

my friend I , have been trying to make a successful installation since August. .   I have a full 10 DVD set,  and all I get after activation  is a welcome screen,  with the next step update,  I  click on that then go into the garden.  I Have been doing this for over 3 months, hoping that one time  it might say. START. this is the longest download I have ever experienced,  it has at one time, overnight and all next day.  does it ever end.!    but I get so sick of it,  I just   reboot. and it still repeats its procedure.   My PC is speciality built  by me, with the highest specs required.

       so I have  a problem. MICROSOFT

    I would like to send a message , on behalf of all of us simmers To The Flight Simulation Team, at Microsoft,  who claim    Quote '''  world breaking Microsoft Flight simulator, the best Simulator that has ever been released. Unquote''   my   message is simple.  why dont you,  answer to us all?,    why we are having such major problems.? with this supposed to be the Best simulator on the planet,?    GET BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD AND START AGAIN,   give us back our hard earned money,  I have been flying  all of your Simulators  since 1998,  and its the worst one of your releases.   Thank you for X Plane 11.        So my very good friend,   I think you feel the same. are we ever going to fly ? and when if  how many more problems are there to face...…..            charles UK

I also have the same issue . Download page automatically exits at about  30GB out of 106GB . I purchased the standard PC version for Win 10 . 

Hope Microsoft give acceptable solutions for this issue , otherwise I want a full refund ......

hello   and thank you for writing.    Thankfully I solved it now   and at the stage  of configs  with the    joy stick  etc. 

if I can help.  First off   don't use  Wi Fi  you must use LAN cable to your Router. this is for the installation,  I don't know about flying at the moment,  THIS IS VITAL 

  I  re installed the 10 dvd activated with the key,    and then  I signed into my store. now because I already had  flights sims attempts in the store library,  this time I signed in different account.   

I got a message   pre ordered. but the other copies of sims were not there.    and at the side of it    it said   launch.  it then asked for disc 1.   so I put that into the drive,  then it said  update  so I did, that ,  so I clicked on  update,   and it was three hours,  and then it said continue.        then it    started at welcome page.  and there was    OPTIONS    GENERAL  AND   CONTROLS    that's where I am  now.  I do hope this helps   the main problems are    UPDATE  takes forever  but it does get there.   and every time  you want to fly,  you have to go to the store and  click  launch.  I did   get   refund  from  Aea rosoft     but it took 1 month.   and I bought it again for one last try, from scan computers UK.

I am now starting to ask,   if we get  live scenery   who wants to buy   further  scenery from  any dealer.  do we get live scenery?     Any how I hope there are no more hold ups.   I have been on  since  march  pre  release. I read PC Flight  mag  every month  and for the last  year, Microsoft, never mentioned any of these things   let alone needing 10 dvds,,   charles.
