Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Installation Problems

I have managed to get as far as the "Welcomem Set Your Experience" screen ==> Content Manager" that seems to keep restarting the download for "asobo-aircraft-b787-10-0.1.35.fspackage".

The download will sometimes get to around 30% and then reset back to start again, while other times it may only get to 7% or 12%.

Why is this happening?

My internet is reasonably stable with a consistent download bandwidth of between 30MBPS to 50MBPS.

    This fix is only for download issues.

    If you have the box set. Then you would not be downloading it so the fix wont apply for a DVD install

    Although it could help you if you have issues when downloading and installing new patch releases.

    All I can Say to this,  is   YES YOUR RIGHT in every word.   Steam are giving refunds to people.      but this is the digital down load I am talking about.   I don't know any one like me,   that's Has a Box set of 10 DVD, that has managed to fly.     Stay with X Plane.      the Microsoft Team bit off more than they could chew.

    never since 1998    Flight Sim,   has there been a problem  Till now.   Load of ****.

    Thanks for your reply,    all I can say    it sounds as if your downloading the digital copy,   and  quite honestly   Loads of people have had refunds from Steam,  because   it is taking forever to download,   also my own Sone,  tried it from them and  after down loading two days,   he give up ,    I would never have waited the year for it,    I should have stayed with X Plane 11   To the Flight Sim Team,  I say,  get back to the drawing Board.  *I am so angry.

    Hello Mathew,   Thank you so much for this letter  and  very good tip.    I haven't as yet   tried it, because the German Manufacturers who made the 10 DVD Set,   have  said  there is a bug in Microsoft Store.  so  again thanks   I will certainly get back to  once its fixed.   Charles UK

    I have been flying flight simulator since sublogic on a commodore 64 to fsx and i just bought a brand new **** puter to play msfs 2020.. Started the download, went to bed, woke up and the installation stopped.

    Restarted it.. It stopped again. Now the loop continues.

    Restarted it and im going to work..When i come back if its not ready and this continues im going to be very very angry and never purchase anything from Microsoft again.  

    Hope it works. Reading these posts is making me soooooo depressed. This game sounds like a turkey that isnt cooked.
