Flight simulator please insert disc???

Okay.  Here is howbyoubdeal with that.  Believe it or not, this is happening because yiur Microsoft Store account needs to be updated.  Songet into Microsoft Store.  When you do, in the top right side ofbthwbscreen on the home page, youll see three dots (. . .).  Click on that.  In the menu bar that comes up click on Dowloads and Updates.  Let those download and update.  Once thatbis done, that should get the game going for you.  So re-launch it at this point.  It will probably want to do a fairly massive update on Stability fixes etc.  rhen yiu should be good to go.  Hope this helps.

Alas this did not help. Still asks for disk.

When I did that, a 1GB download immediately ensued.  XBox Support helped me with this.  When I mentioned to my son anout this problem, before Incould even mention how Inhad resolved it, he asked me if I had gone to Microsoft Store to download any updates for the game...he knew the fix.  Tey it again.  If that doesnt work, then maybe get XBox support to help you.

Yes I updated 33 files and then updated Flight Simulator.

Called Microsoft support twice. Each time I was asked to do uploads for Windows and when that did not work the operator said she would be calling a senior tech and I was put on hold and then disconnected. They never called me back. 

I was nervous about buying a Microsoft game and am glad I ordered the least expensive basic edition. Still very unhappy. It worked when I first got it and is a fun program but now I regret purchasing it.
