I had to install the digital license again, had to reset the game file in apps and select repair and turn off my firewall.
It then began the long install of 91gb.

When I start up the game it tells me to press any button to start. I press a button and then it tells me to insert the disk and press continue. I don't have a disk because I purchased the premium Deluxe Edition online it's bought-and-paid-for it says the game is installed but everytime I press continue it just pops up again please insert disc.

Make a folder on the C: with the name 'MFS DISK 1'
Copy the files from the DVD 1 to this folder, but not the cabinet files (data1 and data2) and data1.hdr.
Download IsoCreator. (it's free)
IsoCreator ask for an ISO File Path. I chose C:\FS2020
Volume Name MFS DISK 1
Folder Path: C:\MFS DISK 1
Start
Open the ISO file (FS2020.ISO)
You must see something like Dvd-station (G:) MFS DISK 1 (see explorer)
Start FS.
works for me
thx

I wonder why I should have the disks, as the version I bought was from Microsoft Store, some 90+ GB download? Maybe Microsoft could send me the disks if they do not have any better solution?
And how do those of us with a digital version get around this issue? Any idea?
I would really like to see an answer on this post that says Microsoft is going to own the problem and find a fix. If digital downloads are the way to go, then we cannot be having these difficulties. After all, Apple solved this problem decades ago. How about it Microsoft, can you offer some light at the end of the tunnel?? We are really interested in the game.
By the way FS does not run correctly on my 10th generation Dell Alienware laptop, but loads perfectly on an older desktop I built that does not meet specs. So, problem cannot be on the user end...
