When I start up the game it tells me to press any button to start. I press a button and then it tells me to insert the disk and press continue. I don't have a disk because I purchased the premium Deluxe Edition online it's bought-and-paid-for it says the game is installed but everytime I press continue it just pops up again please insert disc.

Im having the same issue, but i dont even get a "Press any key to start" screen when i load up the game, it only took 3 hours to install the premium deluxe ON TOP of that, i installed it from the microsoft store, not steam, and ON TIPPITY TOP OF THAT i dont have any of the folders such as the main folder, the community folder, i dont have any folders related to flight sim, please help.

We should learn the lesson, next time better to download a pirate version that pay for it... if you pay for it, and the end you will need to crack it for using it. It is insane!!!!!
Then its probably not getting updated on Microsoft Store. Dis you clicl on the Downloads and Updates tab under those 3 dots on the top right of the screen? When I did that, a 1GB download immediately ensued. XBox Support helped me with this. When I mentioned to my son anout this problem, before Incould even mention how Inhad resolved it, he asked me if I had gone to Microsoft Store to download any updates for the game...he knew the fix. Tey it again. If that doesnt work, then maybe get XBox support to help you.
Yes I updated 33 files and then updated Flight Simulator.
Called Microsoft support twice. Each time I was asked to do uploads for Windows and when that did not work the operator said she would be calling a senior tech and I was put on hold and then disconnected. They never called me back.
I was nervous about buying a Microsoft game and am glad I ordered the least expensive basic edition. Still very unhappy. It worked when I first got it and is a fun program but now I regret purchasing it.
