Thanks to Gie for this link. It works!
Flight simulator please insert disc???
When I start up the game it tells me to press any button to start. I press a button and then it tells me to insert the disk and press continue. I don't have a disk because I purchased the premium Deluxe Edition online it's bought-and-paid-for it says the game is installed but everytime I press continue it just pops up again please insert disc.

2020-10-21T14:20:16+00:00 Gie, Thank you for posting this helpful method for avoiding the chore of having to load DVD number 1 into your PC's DVD reader every time you are preparing to use MS Flight Simulator - which, as I pointed out previously, is 'officially' required if you are using the DVD box set ('Disc') edition of MSFS. I used the link you provided in your post to download the .iso file, saved it to a convenient folder on my PC and double clicked it before launching MSFS. Bingo! The simulator launched perfectly, even though I had not inserted the 'required' DVD. As you explained, double clicking this .iso file before attempting to launch MSFS tricks the app into thinking that DVD1 has been loaded into the DVD reader - and this prevents the app from 'stalling' with the troublesome "Please insert the Microsoft Flight Simulator game disc" popup message. Thanks again for suggesting an excellent method for dealing with this issue. It is particularly convenient if the PC you are using does not have a build-in DVD reader.
