Thanks for advice -I will have a go at that . Where do you place the .iso file created for it to work.
Thanks again

Hello,
I ordered and installed the FS 2020 version with the PC code.
After FS 2020 I installed the digital owner add-on (can be only installed afterwards).
But when I start the FS 2020 then a screen is appearing to ask for a disk that I don't have.
What can I do to get it started?

For me , I had flightsim2020 installed and already working - then all of a sudden was asking to insert disk - I turned off all real time virus protection and worked fine .
Thank you, this should work for me. I‘ll keep that in mind if the digital ownership doesn‘t work anymore after game pass subscription ends.
Workaround: Create an .iso image of DVD 1 but leave the 'data' files out of the image. The size of that .iso will be appr. 4 Mb
Eject the DVD and put it into the box. Mount the MFS DISK 1.ISO and start FS2020..... works great!!!
An easy workaround for FS asking for Game-disk 1 :
I do own all DVD's and created an .iso file with the name MFS DISK 1. (used ISO Workshop for this)
The file contains the contents of the original DISK 1 except (!) the (huge) data2.cab, that is not needed.
MFS DISK 1.ISO has a size of 12 Mb.
Just mount it once in Windows 10 and FS works great without the DVD in the drive.
Update: Did some more investigations and found that only ONE file is needed in the ISO : 0x0409.ini (22kb)
The others are not needed at all.
