Flight Sim 2020 keeps crashing even with the a beast of a PC and Video card?

Having issues as well... anywhere from 2-20min in game it’ll crash to desktop even on low settings...

Also dont  think live weather is working...

I am also having a huge problem and my specs IMO are good. 

-i7-8700k

-EVGA geforce 2070 super

-32gb ram 

I can fly, but for a limited time. The tutorials i had no problem (for the most part)

When i choose a destination to travel to on my own, i usually crash about 5-10 min in. (Any place that tends to have a lot of houses/trees)

Whats odd is the game runs great while its working, then itll start to stutter and freeze up then it crashes.

I have it through game pass but on my PC, so its not a huge loss for me, but i feel for others who paid for this game. I dont have any problem with any other games but this one. Granted i know the game takes a lot to run, but shouldnt be this unplayable. Would love to support the game if it was playable.

My computer crashed all the time.  But when I disabled bluetooth on my computer it all ran fine. And I have a simple Dell xps 9570.  Now the game runs flawlessly. 

Weird bug I must say.

I have a pretty poweful system with a:

-EVGA Geforce Nvidia RTX 2080ti Ultra Hybrid Gaming GPU that is water cooled

-i5 8600K CPU

-16 GB of DDR4 3200 RAM

-Asus Ultra Gaming Motherboard

-1 TB NVME M.2 SSD 

-500 GB SSD 

My system has a $1,500 GPU that is literally the most powerful Nvdia GPU available, other than the $2,500 Nvdia Titan. My NVME M.2 SSD is one of the fastest consumer SSD’s on the market. My CPU speed, the size and speed of my RAM, and my mother board are all good, but not great, but well within the Recommended levels for MSFS. 

I removed all the overclocks on my GPU, CPU, motherboard, and RAM because some people are saying that overclocks could be the cause of some of the stability isssues with MSFS 2020. 

I’ve also tried every recommendation from Microsoft support and from expert articles and Youtube video, which included changing a bunch of settings on my PC and graphics card, as well as in the MSFS application. Also, I am not using any 3rd party plug-ins like SIMCONNECT or FSUIPC, which are both known to cause serious FPS drops and stability issues with MSFS 2020.

With all of these changes implemented and without any overclocks, I still can’t get my FPS to average more than 30 FPS and the MSFS application is still extremely unstable, constantly freezing and crashing, not only the application, but also my entire PC. 

Its continuously crashing my PC whenever I try to save a cache in the app settings, on the map cache page. The app is frequently crashing my PC when I hit the “Ready to Fly” button. The app is also frequently crashing my PC in the middle of flights. 

I can rarely get into a new flight and complete even a 30 minute flight without the app crashing my entire PC at some point in the flight set up process or during the flight itself. 

I’m at a complete loss of what fo try next. I did buy a new Intel 10th Gen i9 10900K CPU, 32 GB of DDR4 3600 RAM, and a new higher end gaming motherboard, but I haven’t had time to install of of this yet. This is the highest performance consumer-grade Intel CPU on the market, plenty of very fast RAM, and one of the best gaming motherboards money can buy. 

I had planned to do these upgrades, not just for MSFS 2020, but also for DCS World, some space sims, and some other new games, as well adding VR to my setup in the near future. 

But the truth is that unfortunately, I really don’t think any of these major upgrades will make a significant diffrence with the stability and performance of MSFS 2020. 

I really think the source of all my issues and the similar issues that many other people are suffering with MSFS are due to some major optimization issues with the application itself, not the PC’s its being run on.

I have the same problem and am not going to mess around with all those options, I can't get to the actual gameplay and am very dissapointed after waiting so long for the updates, I want to enquire about a refund as well as I HAVEN'T EVEN GOT IN THE PLANE YET!!!!
