I have a i9 5.Ghz with 32Gb Ram, Windows 10 Pro, Nvidia RTX2080Ti and even when I put the graphics on low as recommended with Nvidia Experience the game crashes with error  Critical Process Died!

I have benched my video card and all Games run perfect and high settings and never crash.

Understanding that this game has to render many objects in any given scene which is understandable however when I cannot run even at a low settings is not exceptable please get me touch of support to get a refund of this game please. I purchased the most expensive opition.

Most disapointed

Hey everyone, my FS2020 has been stable now for over a week (touch wood). Here's what I did:

    Uninstall nVidia Experience

Download latest driver for my RTX 2080 Super and do a (Custom) clean installation

Went to windows 'Focus assist' and set to Alarms only - 'During these times' is off and everything else is on

Kill any background processes I don't need from the Notification area including 'nvidia settings' and my graphics tablet

    Run FS2020 as Administrator

    Turned off vsync

Accepted the recommended in-game graphics settings but I dialed down some of the traffic, so I'm basically on 'High' but with a few things dialed back.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Jeremy,

From the start MSFS 2020 was unstable even in downloading it, it would crash frequently, took me about four days to completely download.

Next problem was even reaching the Options page. just kept crashing.  Rather frustrating.

I had Task Manager up and noticed the GPU chart collapse just prior to a crash, which got me thinking.

This is a new computer, with the previous one slowly dying.

For some reason Windows wouldn't let me install the NVIDIA drivers.  The computer worked, so I left it alone and had no issues.

    However, MSFS 2020 fixed that.

I went into 'System' and verified that I had the correct driver, not the suggested one.  I found it hard to compare the latest NVIDIA driver with what I had as they used different styles of version numbers.  In the end, the NVIDIA one was more recent so I tried downloading it again and it installed without issue and so did my crashing issues with MSFS 2020.

It's still a bit twitchy but at least I can get into flight training.

My next issue is the yoke assembly, have some issues there.  I find the keyboard controls to active and I end up losing control and crashing.  Something else to fix.  :)

    Im having same issue,

My specs are Ryzen 5 3600, Rtx 2060 super and 16Gb 3600mhz RAM

Game crashes after 15-30 mins on all settings, tried everything but it still crashes. Very disappointed as its such a beautiful game and its so annoying to play on it

My Flight Simulator 2020 was crashing non stop during gameplay, it suddenly crashes and closes the game back to the desktop. My computer is an Alienware r3, i7 7700hq, GTX 1070, 16GB RAM. I have tried everything suggested on the internet, increased virtual memory, tried lowest graphics, all set to minimum, reinstalled the game, etc, and it still crashed. So a simple fix SOLVED everything and it never crashed again: SET THE MAXIMUM FPS TO 30. With this configuration it never crashed again, even on ULTRA, it does not crash, and now I am able to play for as long as I want, with no freezing nor crashing. I hope it helps, because the crashing to desktop is annoying.

Ok even if this is a fix , forget it . Microsoft needs to fix their game , how many games require you to reconfigure your PC.  They need to do better I will pass.
