Flight Sim 2020 keeps crashing even with the a beast of a PC and Video card?

I have a i9 5.Ghz with 32Gb Ram, Windows 10 Pro, Nvidia RTX2080Ti and even when I put the graphics on low as recommended with Nvidia Experience the game crashes with error  Critical Process Died!

I have benched my video card and all Games run perfect and high settings and never crash.

Understanding that this game has to render many objects in any given scene which is understandable however when I cannot run even at a low settings is not exceptable please get me touch of support to get a refund of this game please. I purchased the most expensive opition.

    I had the same issue when landing to medium/big airports. In my case, problem was coming from Windows paging file which was set to a fixed size (2GB) on one of my SSD drive. I switched it back to "system managed" mode (pagefile is now more than 4GB) and I don't have crashes anymore.

    I see where ZenDesk posted a fix to game crashing to desktop (turn off "Delegate ATC to Copilot"), which has worked for me so far.  I just wanted to post that my i-9900K, 32GB, NVidia GTX 1080ti was groaning and making unusual noise while playing Flight Sim 2020 since the recent Update. The groaning/processing noises have stopped since I did the following, which was posted online:

    • Uninstall the game- Press the Windows Key
    • Type in wsreset
    • Right-click and select run as administrator
    • Once complete perform a system reboot
    • Reinstall the game (Please install the game to your C drive)
    • Type in Apps and Features
    • Find Microsoft Flight Simulator on the list
    • Select Advanced Options
    • Select Reset

    The game had to reinstall all 110GB, which took hours, but it was worth it as my pc is running quiet and I assume cooler with the fresh install of the game.

    I also had a lot of issues. Fixed them all by going to options, general, data, and adjusted the rolling cache. By me it was set to 8. I set it to 32. After this change I deleted it and recreated it. Takes some time. After this change all my problems where gone. No crashes anymore. Maybe this also helps for one of you.

    Well having read the current threads, I was not surprised that it crashed on the first flight after the massive patch. It seems that MS don't care at all about a very large community who clearly cannot use the game.  I wonder if the ZenDesk even bother reading what we put. I am all but done with this broken game.

    I have nearly the same computer specs. The game has been crashing to desktop with NO error or explanation from the start. I was hoping this latest "update" might fix it but nope. It sometimes crashes before I can even start a flight but more often it crashes after wasting an hour flying and it crashes to desktop as I get close to landing.  I not only wasted $120 on the game..but another $250 for a Honeycomb yoke and $60 on a second Saitek throttle. What an absolute disappointment after a year of waiting for the release. But Bill is richer for it so what does MS care?

    Back to X-Plane I guess.
