I have been having the same problem but crashing to a black screen and having to reboot. What I have found on mine is that it's everytime I try to fly one of the Cessnas. It happens with the 152, 172 ,and Caravan. I have flown both Diamonds, the 747 (full flight) and the Airbus (full flight) with no problems. When I go back to one of the Cessnas it crashes almost immediately. It's weird. Why would that happen? I haven't tried any of the other aircraft but I am beginning to see a pattern. I will try other aircraft to see what happens.
Flight Sim 2020 keeps crashing even with the a beast of a PC and Video card?
I have a i9 5.Ghz with 32Gb Ram, Windows 10 Pro, Nvidia RTX2080Ti and even when I put the graphics on low as recommended with Nvidia Experience the game crashes with error Critical Process Died!
I have benched my video card and all Games run perfect and high settings and never crash.
Understanding that this game has to render many objects in any given scene which is understandable however when I cannot run even at a low settings is not exceptable please get me touch of support to get a refund of this game please. I purchased the most expensive opition.

2020-08-23T15:57:24+00:00 Have the same issue. Just installed it via the player pass option on Xbox PC. Full download done. All installed on c drive. It crashed the first time whilst loading the game. Tried again. I was able to spend about 4 minutes in one of the tutorials. And again, stopped running and left me in the main desktop screen. No crash warnings, no codes. Just not running anymore. tried it a third time, now putting settings below the ultra settings that were recommended (to medium). Played another tutorial and crashed almost instantly after loading. Tried a fourth time, now selecting free flight. Loaded up the 747. Got as far as trying to release the breaks and it crashed again.
Spend hours and no luck. Tried reinstall, tried latest drivers, tried all tips and tricks. Nothing works, it just keeps crashing for the 5th, 6th....99th time. It's just bad software.

Wanted to give an update. I downloaed every driver. Every new windows update there was.
No matter what it crashes to desktop. Also I notice that it crashes at around 41% on a particular file too.
I saw a post that said you really have to babysit this ,... so true.
Still can't download the game tho. EVen going so far as to getting a new laptop shipped out to just make sure its them and not my PC thats causing it.
Its a beast m17 R3. 32GB RAM excellent graphics card. So yeah MSFS needs to fix this somehow because I have a feeling, its still going to be them. I will update when I get the new computer. All the suggestions were attempted regarding lowing graphics low mode. Tried all of it. haha
Best of luck friends
