I have a i9 5.Ghz with 32Gb Ram, Windows 10 Pro, Nvidia RTX2080Ti and even when I put the graphics on low as recommended with Nvidia Experience the game crashes with error  Critical Process Died!

I have benched my video card and all Games run perfect and high settings and never crash.

Understanding that this game has to render many objects in any given scene which is understandable however when I cannot run even at a low settings is not exceptable please get me touch of support to get a refund of this game please. I purchased the most expensive opition.

Most disapointed

I've been playing FS2020 since day one, and since day one it crashes EVERY TIME I play.  I've tried every fix I could find on the internet, but NOTHING works.  I am beyond fed up!  All hardware and firmware is up to date.  I've been playing every version of FS since the late 80's and have never once run into anything as ridiculous as this.  Please help!!!

    Here are my computer's specs:

Intel Core i9-9900 Eight Core Processor (16MB Cache, 3.6GHz-5.0GHz)

    64GB 2666MHz DDR4 RAM

    2TB SSD Drive

    Nvidia RTX2070 8GB Graphics Card

    Windows 10 64 bit

You may want to add a post in topic: "Steam version CTD after blackshark.ai logo and legal notices" found in Bugs & Issues > Performance & Graphics.  I haven't seen any fixes posted there yet, but it looks like someone else is having an issue similar to yours with their Steam version.

Since your game is crashing even before you're flying, I'd try this, if you haven't yet:

    • Uninstall the game
    • Press the Windows Key
    • Type in: wsreset in the "Type here to search" box
    • Right-click and select Run as Administrator
    • Once complete, reboot computer
    • Reinstall the game from Steam
    • Go to Settings > Apps
    • Find Microsoft Flight Simulator on the list
    • Select Advanced Options
    • Select Reset

When you open the game after the reset, it will download the entire game (100GB plus), which takes a while.

My Microsoft Store version is nearly bullet-proof these days and I haven't crashed in over a month now.

    Best of luck,

    Bill

I have the same issue while trying to do Bush Trips.

The game freezes for about 20 seconds and then returns me to the desktop with no error at all.

    GPU: GeForce RTX 3090 CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900K CPU @ 3.70GHz Memory: 64 GB RAM

I am running the game on 2560x1440 with unlimited FPS and medium/high settings and getting ~90FPS.
