Ok even if this is a fix , forget it . Microsoft needs to fix their game , how many games require you to reconfigure your PC. They need to do better I will pass.
Flight Sim 2020 keeps crashing even with the a beast of a PC and Video card?
I have a i9 5.Ghz with 32Gb Ram, Windows 10 Pro, Nvidia RTX2080Ti and even when I put the graphics on low as recommended with Nvidia Experience the game crashes with error Critical Process Died!
I have benched my video card and all Games run perfect and high settings and never crash.
Understanding that this game has to render many objects in any given scene which is understandable however when I cannot run even at a low settings is not exceptable please get me touch of support to get a refund of this game please. I purchased the most expensive opition.
Most disapointed

2020-08-30T02:21:43+00:00 Hello to all the troubled MSFS customers. I Spent at least 30hrs in a trial and error effort that led to a reasonable result. I Can now fly for hours without the terrible frequent crashes. My rig is middle ground RTX 2060, and internet speed very high. Here what worked:
Limited frame rate to 30
Triple buffering set to On
Set general graphics to Medium
Killed all startups.
Hope this helps

2020-08-28T19:23:18+00:00 Guys, its obvious now that our issues hahs nothing to do with how powerful our PC’s are. My PC regularly gets 144 to 175 FPS and is always very stable when playing a variety of other games and sims that are known to challenge even the best systems.
I have an 38” ultra wide 3840 X 1600 IPS display with 144 Hz (175 Hz overclocked) and 1ms response time.
My PC has:
RTX 2080ti Ultra Gaming Hybrid Water Cooled GPU
1 TB NVME M.2 SSD
500 GB SATA SSD
i9 8600K CPU
16 GB DDR4 3600 RAM
I have no issues playing other very system intensive games and sims with all max graphics settings and I usually get 144 to 175 FPS.
With MSFS, the sim regulary freezes and then crashes my entire PC and when the sim does actual run for short time without freezing and crashing, I’m averaging 15 to 30 FPS, but its rare that i can fly for more than 10 minutes without it freezing and crashing my PC. Then it takes 10 minutes by the time my PC reboots and I can get all the way back onto a flight.

2020-08-27T20:36:29+00:00 My computer crashed all the time. But when I disabled bluetooth on my computer it all ran fine. And I have a simple Dell xps 9570. Now the game runs flawlessly.
Weird bug I must say.
