Can't download Microsoft flight sim 2020

Hello. I'm simply replying to let the community and Microsoft know that 3 months later, hundreds of people are still having this issue with no resolution. Absolutely ridiculous, and its ONLY Flight Sim that gives us this issue. I can install every other program just fine, but not MSFS.

Solved only by re-installing my entire OS. Tried every step on the internet and these forums, a whole other Microsoft Account on a new User Account, completely different license and it still wouldn't download. Someone royally messed up on this one.

Yep, even with the newest patch it's still failing on the bigfile. No way am i reformatting my system, thats out of the question. MS needs to fix this problem. Haven't been able to play since the first patch was released.

Microsoft stinks!  I attempted to purchase a physical copy of it  (dvd's).  Can't get them ANYWHERE in the U.S.  I even tried to purchase them from a distributor in Ireland.  Microsoft wont let them sell outside of Ireland.  Im hrough with Micrisoft!  Won't be purchasing ANYTHING from them again.  They dont care about their customers.

Did everyone try logging  on to Microsofts website and going to the Game Selection/Install HERE https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/microsoft-flight-simulator-standard/9nxn8gf8n9ht?activetab=pivot:overviewtab And Download via there (with Microsoft Store open in Windows).

MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT LOGGED ONTO GOOOGLE WITH ANY OTHER E-MAIL ADDRESS when you do that.

It's the only way I could download it. PATIENTLY.

Don't reinstall windows, That's what has given me all the issues, I can't install it now on either drive, after days of finally getting to the point my installer downloads FS2020, when pressing play to download the mammoth game yet again it simply does nothing but opens a new window for a spilt second before bombing out, reinstalling windows didn't just ruin my fs2020, it cocked up everything related to the Xbox app, ridiculous...… stay away from the Microsoft launcher versions of anything.!!!
